If you live or travel around Hanover and New Oxford, Pennsylvania, these are some sights you've probably passed many times but have never noticed. I didn't until I took some time to find them. First three photos taken on October 18, 2009. All others on August 2, 2009.

attorneyjay > Caboose on display at the former New Oxford train station. The station is now a railroad museum.

attorneyjay > Philadelphia 103 miles; York 17. An old mileage marker on the Lincoln Highway at Cross Keys, PA. This was here well before it was the Lincoln Highway.

attorneyjay > Attlesberger Park. This little park in Hanover is accessible only by alleyway. It's located between Baer Avenue and Fulton Street.

attorneyjay > Did you know Hanover has a public arboretum? It is located off of Hanover Street behind the Warehime-Myers Mansion. It contains dozens of unusual trees - each one is a different type. The trees were once labeled so you could see what they were but vandals have destroyed most of the signs.

attorneyjay > This looks like a weeping willow tree from a distance but if you look closely at its branches they seem to be made of pine needles! (See next photo.)
